Samsung has added astrophotography features to the Galaxy S21 series with the latest April 2023 update. This update includes improvements to the Camera and Gallery apps and enables astrophotography features in the Expert RAW app.
According to a recent report by SamMobile, Samsung’s latest update for the Galaxy S21 series in April 2023, includes astrophotography features for capturing stunning shots of the night sky in the Expert RAW app.
Users will need to download the dedicated app from the Galaxy Store and have the latest April 2023 update installed to access the new features.

With the new astrophotography feature, users can take long exposure shots of up to 10 minutes of the night sky. To achieve this, they will need a clear sky, low light pollution, and a tripod for their phone. The feature also includes a constellation overlay. It means that it helps to pinpoint nearby stars and celestial bodies.
The Galaxy S21 series is about two years old but continues to be a solid device with plenty of years of relevancy left in it. Samsung is known for extending the utility of older devices with regular updates, and this latest update proves no exception.
Astrophotography features for the S21 series were initially expected to arrive with the OneUI 5.1 update, but the April 2023 update has finally brought the feature to the Galaxy S21 series.
